yom kippur - of celebrationso i sit here waiting for a revelation empty stomach gurgling at theyom kippur - of celebration
injustice of a forced observance, today is the day i break the rules.
this morning i drank a cup of tea. then drove my sister to a cabin. then drank juice to drive home on.
today i woke up and turned on the lights ran the shower boiled water. today i reclaimed a holiday as my own restated the observance after thousands of years took back the oppression my family never felt and celebrated
